
Hundreds of celebrities graced and turned up for the Dorah Mwima Foundation Charity Football match that was held at Kabira country club on Saturday 17 December 2016.
Among the celebrities that turned up for the match were Rajiv Ruparelia son to city Mogul Sudhir ruparelia, Ali Kiba Tanzania’s singer, Uganda’s Emma Okwi, tycoon Jack Pemba, Andrew Kyamagero of Galaxy Fm, Stylist Abryans, Ivan Ssemwanga, Keko, Kampala Central Member of Parliament Muhamad Nsereko, Comedian Alex Muhangi, Dj Michael, Leila kayondo, Rabadaba among other celebrities.
These celebrities were TV/radio preseters, musicians, actors & actresses , singers, former beauty queens, royals, film producers, fashion designers, well known business men & women, comedians, socialites, event promoters, DJs, Mc’s, professional footballers and politicians.
The Dorah Mwima Foundation is a non-profit organisation focusing on prenatal and postnatal healthcare for mothers and creating awareness about basic health needs for newborns and toddlers.
It is an organisation that is dedicated to supporting care facilities for the underprivileged in Uganda.
This year, the team headed by ex-beauty queen Dorah Mwima was launching their launching and fundraising for the MAMAPort Project, a project that will be providing expectant mothers, new mothers and their newborns free, safe and comfortable transportation to and from hospital.
The Event was hosted by Kabira Country club who happened to one of the sponsors of the event. Other sponsors included NBS TV, Graphic Systems, Matooke republic, Nish Auto Limited, Pemba among others.
